This Privacy Policy explains how Team ROVI, LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit rovigoesreal.com (the “Site”) or submit a form to us. We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with applicable laws including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the Connecticut Data Privacy Act (CTDPA), the Florida Digital Bill of Rights (FDBR), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where applicable, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), CAN-SPAM, and other applicable state privacy laws as enacted in jurisdictions where you reside.
This Site is operated by Team ROVI, LLC, a Massachusetts limited liability company that is the contracting party for any consent grant submitted on this Site. Steve Rovithis is the operating principal of Team ROVI, LLC and a licensed real estate agent of The Real Brokerage Inc. (“REAL Broker”), the licensed brokerage. RoviGoesReal.com is also operated by Team ROVI, LLC and is not an official publication of REAL Broker.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide directly:
- Name, email address, and phone number when you submit a form
- Real estate licensing status, brokerage information, production data, and other context you choose to share
- Communications you send to us (email replies, text message responses)
Information collected automatically:
- IP address, browser type, device information, operating system
- Pages visited, time spent on pages, referring URL, exit URL
- UTM parameters and other attribution data
- Cookie identifiers and first-party tracking data
Information from third parties:
- Authentication tokens from Cloudflare Turnstile (anti-bot verification)
- Analytics events from PostHog and Google Analytics
- We do not purchase contact lists from data brokers.
2. How we use information — including SMS, calls, and AI
We use information to:
- Respond to your inquiries and questions
- Schedule and conduct conversations about Team ROVI, REAL Broker, or related real estate topics
- Send recruiting and follow-up communications
- Improve the Site and our content based on usage patterns
- Comply with legal obligations
- Detect and prevent fraud, spam, and abuse
Email communications: All form submissions receive an email confirmation. Steve may follow up by email regardless of whether you check the SMS/calls consent checkbox.
SMS, calls, and AI — only with your express consent: If you check the consent checkbox on our form, you give prior express written consent for us to contact you by phone (including autodialed, prerecorded, or AI-generated calls and text messages). If you do NOT check the consent checkbox, we will not call or text you — only email follow-up will occur.
Message frequency (when consented): Typically 1–4 messages per month after you submit a form. May increase if you actively engage in conversation.
Quiet hours: We do not send messages before 8:00 AM or after 9:00 PM in your local time zone.
Opt-out: Reply STOP to any text message at any time to opt out. Reply HELP for help. You can also email careers@rovihomes.com to opt out of all communications.
Email opt-out: Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link.
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
3. How we collect consent
We capture different kinds of consent depending on which form you submit. If you submit a request for a resource (a guide or worksheet), you consent to receive that resource and follow-up emails about its contents — email only, no calls or text messages. If you submit our main contact form, you consent first to email follow-up about your inquiry; you can then optionally provide your phone number and grant additional consent to receive text messages and phone calls — including autodialed, prerecorded, or AI-generated communications — for follow-up and to schedule a conversation. Your consents are independent: revoking SMS consent does not revoke email consent, and vice versa. You can revoke email consent by replying UNSUBSCRIBE to any email or using the unsubscribe link, and revoke SMS consent by replying STOP to any text message.
4. Anti-bot protection
This site uses Cloudflare Turnstile to verify that form submissions come from real users rather than automated bots. Turnstile collects technical signals about your browser and device to make this determination. These signals are sent to Cloudflare for verification only and are not used by Team ROVI, LLC for marketing or profiling. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for details on how they handle this data.
5. Cookies and tracking
We use first-party cookies and third-party analytics tools to understand how visitors use the Site. Specifically:
- Necessary cookies: Required for the Site to function (session, security, attribution).
- Analytics cookies: PostHog, Google Analytics. Aggregated usage data; we do not link analytics events to your name, email, or phone unless you submit a form.
- Attribution cookies: First-party
rovi_attributioncookie persists UTM parameters for up to one year so we can understand how visitors found us.
You can manage cookie preferences via the consent banner shown on first visit, and at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.
We do not currently use advertising cookies. If we add Meta or Google advertising pixels in the future, we will update this Policy and the cookie banner.
6. Information sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
We share information only with:
- Service providers that help us operate the Site and communicate with you (Vercel for hosting, SendGrid for email, Twilio for SMS, Cloudflare for security, PostHog and Google for analytics, Anthropic for AI-generated communications) — bound by contract to use information only for these purposes.
- Affiliates within Team ROVI’s operation (Steve, Lauren, LJ, Justin Mandese, designated brokers) when responding to your inquiry.
- Legal compliance when required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights and safety.
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. This is a category-specific commitment beyond the general non-sale policy above.
7. Data retention
We retain personal information as long as necessary to:
- Respond to your inquiry and any follow-up
- Comply with legal record-keeping obligations (TCPA consent records retained permanently for any leads who provided SMS/calls consent)
- Maintain attribution and analytics data
Specifically:
- Form submission records: retained until you request deletion
- SMS/calls consent records (when given): retained permanently for compliance audit
- Analytics events: 24 months for individual events, indefinite for aggregated data
- Cookies: 12 months from last visit, then expire
IP addresses and device information collected automatically: 24 months for security and fraud detection purposes, then aggregated or deleted.
AI-generated communications and the prompts used to generate them are retained for 24 months for quality assurance, model improvement, and dispute resolution, then aggregated or deleted.
You can request deletion at any time per §9 below.
8. Security
We protect personal information using industry-standard practices:
- HTTPS encryption in transit
- Encrypted storage at rest
- Access controls limiting who can view personal data
- Regular security review of vendors and systems
No system is perfectly secure. We will notify affected individuals within 72 hours of confirmed unauthorized access to personal information, or as required by applicable state law (whichever is shorter), and will provide information on the nature of the breach, the data affected, and steps taken to remediate.
9. Your rights
All visitors:
- Access: request a copy of personal information we hold about you
- Correction: request that we correct inaccurate information
- Deletion: request that we delete personal information (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Opt-out: stop calls, texts, and emails at any time
California residents (CCPA):
- Right to know what categories of personal information we collect
- Right to delete personal information (with limited exceptions)
- Right to opt-out of sale of personal information (we do not sell)
- Right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights
- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information
EU/UK residents (GDPR):
- All CCPA rights above
- Right to data portability
- Right to withdraw consent
- Right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority

10. Children
The Site is intended for licensed real estate agents and adults considering a real estate career. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us at careers@rovihomes.com and we will delete it promptly.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of the Policy reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be communicated via the Site (banner notice) and, where appropriate, via email to known contacts.
